2. Temperature and humidity control stores (upto 10 yrs i.e. long term)
3. Moisture proof container (3-4 years i.e intermediate term)

Management of seed storage

• Cleanliness of storage
• Disinfection of storage before seeds are stored.
• Fumigation of seeds and packaging material before seeds are stored.
• Periodic supervision of the seed lot.
• Fixing of stack card for identification of seed lot indicating crop variety, year of production and germination %.
