Degeneration and regeneration of Nerve fibre

• Nerve fibres of Central Nervous System (CNS) do not regenerate if they get damaged but Peripheral Nervous System (PNS) can regenerate.
• Cell body of neuron cannot regenerate. Only, Axon and terminal end regenerate.
