Pluralistic agriculture extension system

  • Provisions are made to work that public sector extension work hand in hand with private sector, non-GON, GoN, cooperative society, self-help organization, community-based organization depending upon their comparative advantage.
  • Pluralism in extension can various forms one of them is working by private firms or non-governmental organization under government led funding.
  • This type of work has been practiced in few foreign aid program like CDP/CADP, PACT in recent years.
